The Message starts its mission by firing off a ghettoblasting bazooka of block rocking old school 80’s to 90’s Hip Hop jams, dropping tracks by Lucid Source, DJ Food, The Herbaliser, Public Enemy, Ragga Twins, Major Force, DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist, Rob Smith and Cypress Hill.
The Message returns with a mix tape of funky, dubby, conscious Hip Hop and Trip Hop, featuring tracks by Tino, Bomb The Bass, Up, Bustle and Out, DJ Food, La Funk Mob, Ashley Beedle and Peshay.
Session 3 plays a raw mix of funky old school Hip Hop jams with a conscious message, featuring tracks by Chipie President, Sundance, Public Enemy, Cypress Hill, LF Pee, Awesome 2, James Brown, Mekon, Major Force, Latino Cafe and DJ Shadow.
Session 4 mixes a blend of Jazzy old school Hip Hop with a conscious message, featuring tracks by Tribe Called Quest, DJ Vadim, Herbaliser, Roots Manuva, Tek 9, Slakah the Beatchild, London Funk Allstars, Mr Scruff, Freshmess On Wax and Dolphin Boy. Heroes and villains also feature, including the notorious Gates/Fauci/Schwab mob, George Carlin, RFK Jnr. and Professor Julie Ponesse.
